Pumpkin Patch!

We went to the Pumpkin Patch in Medina, Texas today. The weather was perfect! Tatum painted a pumpkin, went on a hay ride and checked out the petting zoo. The Patch is at an apple orchard and they have homeade apple ice cream - SOOOO good.

Dont' touch my sty eye.

My little one has a sty on her eye. Don't ask me how that happens, but it happened. She calls it her sty eye. I wasn't going to take her to the doctor to get it looked at until she woke up Monday morning and this is what I saw...

Yikes. Not good. I don't think the folks at Kiddie Koop would have been too happy if I brought her to school and said, "I think it's just a sty. No need to worry. It's probably not contagious." So, off to the doctor we went. And what do you know? It was a sty on her eye. Poor baby! So, eye drops and warm compresses have been our friend the past couple of days. Well, not really. Every time I get near her she tells me, "don't touch my sty eye."

The good news is she's looking and feeling much better now...

Tonight... we partied.

We wore silly glasses and cowgirl pajamas.

Oops.

So, I guess you may have noticed by now that I haven't blogged in a while. A really long while. Sorry!

Don't worry, I'll get you all caught up in no time...

Here's my baby.

Cute, a'int she?

Hard to believe summer's come and gone... here's a look at what she's been up to...

We celebrated the 4th at Landa Park with the family. Here she is enjoying a little pre-dessert dessert. She's also wearing headphones to protect her ears from the loud firework pops. Mind you, the fireworks won't start for another... oh, three hours. Safety first!

She tried out for an all-star cheerleading squad. That's my girl flying through the air. Whee!

She swam.

She went toilet paper-ing.

She grew a beard.

She started school and learned how to write her name (note - hers is the one in blue). I die everytime I look at that upside-down A. So precious.

Hope y'all are well!!
